Welcome to The Golf Club at Moffett Field where we take a special pride and a personal interest in creating celebrations that become treasured memories.   We offer complete Special Event Services, assisting you in designing a truly unique experience.  From a large birthday party to a small private dinner, we can accommodate it all.

The Golf Club is located on the Historic NASA Ames Research Center, one of ten NASA field centers and in the heart of California's Silicon Valley. For more than 76 years, Ames has led NASA in conducting world-class research and development in aeronautics, exploration technology and science aligned with the center's core capabilities.  The golf club is tucked away in a peaceful corner of the property away from all the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley.

With our newly remodeled facility we can accommodate up to 160 guests. Our open floor plan and numerous windows throughout the dining area give our guests incredible views of the golf course and easy access to the outdoor patio.   The dining room is simple, yet very comfortable for all occasions.   

Whether you’re planning a birthday party, anniversary celebration, holiday event or golf event, we have the ability to meet all of your expectations.  Our friendly staff provides superior service and a commitment to address the many details, both large and small, which will ensure you remember your event with pride and happiness. Our professional, PGA golf staff specializes in tournament and group event coordination ranging from small group events and corporate outings to full field tournaments of any size. With careful attention to detail, we take pride in assisting you at every stage - from preliminary planning through smooth coordination and execution on tournament day.

Catering Information & Policies

Event Coordination- Our professional staff provides complete planning services paying special attention to even the smallest detail so you don’t have to. One on One meeting’s with our Food and Beverage manager and Chef is included.  Communication via email and telephone will always be available.

Event Hours - Events are granted three hours (not including set-up or clean-up). Hours and availability vary throughout the year. An additional charge of $300 per hour will be applied to events that extend past the contracted time.

 

Event Reservation- On the date of inquiry a $250.00 deposit is required to hold the date. The Golf Club at Moffett Field will grant a 48 hour grace period to make the deposit. 

 

Cancellations60 or more days prior to the event will result in a full refund of the deposit. 30-59 days prior to the event will result in a 50% refund of the deposit contingent upon rebooking of the event. Less than 30 days prior to the event will not receive a refund of the deposit.

 

Final PaymentRemaining balance is due in full the day/night of the event.

 

Service Charge and Sales Tax - The Golf Club at Moffett Field adds a service charge of 20% and applicable sales tax to all food and beverage charges (California State Board of Equalization Regulation No.1603) (8.75%)

 

Loss or Damage - The Golf Club at Moffett Field will not assume any liability or responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise or personal articles left on the premises prior to or following the event.

 

Decorations - The Golf Club at Moffett Field will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors or ceiling of the rooms with nails, staples or any other substances or the use of certain party favors unless prior arrangements have been made with the Food & Beverage Director. A $300 clean up fee will be added at the discretion of the F&B Director.

 

Room Rental RatesDining Room, Bar Room, and Patio - $250.00

 

Dance FloorDance floor rental available - $225.00

 

Linens- White Linens and Black napkins are included. Colored Linens and Floor Length Linens are available for an additional charge. See Food and Beverage Manager for rates.

Poultry:

· Bistro Chicken – Italian inspired dish, marinated chicken thighs served over hot macaroni or cavatappi pasta    

· Chicken Parmigiani – Our most popular Italian/American dish.  Lightly breaded chicken breast topped with                   tomato sauce and mozzarella, parmesan or provolone cheese.  

· Chicken Picata – Sauteed chicken breast with fresh lemon, capers and our Chef’s rich buttery sauce.   

· Country Fried Chicken – Just on old time Southern Delight.  A boneless, skinless chicken breast is pounded thin, dredged in flour and fried.  It is truly just good ole comfort food.

Beef and Pork:

  •  Herb Roasted Prime Rib – carved prime rib, served with au jus & creamy horseradish
  •  Filet Mignon - classic presentation topped with caramelized onions and gorgonzola cheese
  •  Bistro Filet – pepper crusted filet marinated in Red wine butter
  •  Pork Tenderloin - medallions of rosemary herb roasted pork tenderloin
  •   Four Season Short Ribs – with creamy polenta and seasoned vegetables.

  •   Asian Crispy Basa Fish or Chicken - served with Jasmine rice, an Asian salad and fresh spring vegetable rolls
  •  Halibut Piccata - grilled halibut filet topped with a lemon caper butter sauce
    •  Penne Primavera - penne pasta tossed with fresh seasonal vegetables served with choice of marinara or Alfredo sauce
  •   Penne Pasta with chicken – our Italian version of stir-fry, this tasty dish mixes cubed, boneless chicken and penne pasta with red and green peppers, garlic, tomatoes, oregano and basil.

Oven baked sliced turkey with Swiss cheese on 9-grain deli bread (or as a wrap) with condiments of mayonnaise, mustard, sliced onion, tomato, pickle spear, apple, our signature Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chip cookies, bag of chips and a bottled water.  Also can choose from either Ham/Swiss or Ham/Cheddar.

Angus hamburger patty with all the fixings; grilled onions, mushrooms, strips of bacon, selection of cheeses, relish tray, fresh baked bun, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, catsup, mustard and mayonnaise.  Burger served with our creamy coleslaw and a bag of chips and for dessert our double chocolate chip rich brownies.  Includes a fountain soda, iced tea, and coffee.

Your choice of Angus beef patties or marinated chicken breast with grilled onions, mushrooms and strips of bacon.  Trays of freshly baked buns with a selection of cheeses, relish, mayonnaise, catsup and mustard.  Also includes potato salad and a seasonal fresh fruit salad.   And last but not least…a tray of our signature Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies.  Includes a fountain soda, iced tea, and coffee.

Build your own sandwich with a selection of deli sliced roast beef, smoked ham, baked turkey, trays of assorted cheeses, freshly baked bread, and condiments.  Add on our potato and ambrosia salad or a bag of chips!  Finish it all off with those double rich chocolate chip brownies.  Includes a fountain soda, iced tea, and coffee.

St. Louis-style ribs, baked chicken, campfire beans, seasonal vegetables.  Our thick jalapeno corn bread served with creamy butter and honey!  Macaroni  salad and those delicious double chocolate chip rich brownies.  Includes a fountain soda, iced tea, and coffee.
